Please excuse my direct approach.
My client, a leading and reputable online media organisation is currently seeking the services of an intermediate AWS Linux engineer, with a salary of up to $90k. The client is based in Sydney's CBD.
The client does offer a bonus incentive scheme of up to 10% of salary for exceptional performance.
There is also on-call duty; rotation at present is every 5 weeks. The base rate for on-call is $300 per week and $75 per incident.
Further details include:
-Specifying Ruby. The client is looking less for developer type coders and more scripter types.
-Python experience is also desirable.
-Candidates with 'Puppet version 3' will be well positioned in this role.
-Akamai exposure is desired but not mandatory.
-For the senior position, the client would expect Varnish, but for an intermediate its not a mandatory requirement.
